Three incredible Locations

Isle of Skye

A place we now call home and simply love living on this magical island. Big, remote, varied and dramatic at every turn. The stunning escarpment of the Trotternish peninsular, the looming Black Cuillin Mountains that shadow the luminous blue Fairy Pools and River Sligachan far below. Some of Scotland’s largest sea cliffs and many of the most iconic landscapes in the Scottish repertoire.

Torridon & Wester Ross

Scenically totally different from either Eigg or Skye, this remote corner of Scotland is really tucked away surrounded by some massive and impressive mountains; Slioch, Beinn Eighe, Liathach and Beinn Alligin. The serene Loch Maree, 12 miles long and littered with 65 wooded islands and surrounded by original Scots Pine Forest. The coast is intricate and contains many little hidden coves, caves, sea stacks and rock arches, and hardly photographed. It’s an area rich for discovery and exploration.

Glencoe

With summer now a distant memory and the biting Midgies gone for the year, Glencoe in the autumn is a magical place. The hillsides and trees turn golden creating a majestic and rustic colour palette ripe for creativity. The Red Deer stags excited by the rut roar from the slopes of Scotland’s tallest and most impressive mountains. With a rich diversity of forests, rivers and still lochs, this vast area is a paradise for landscape photography.
