Outer Hebrides Workshop 2018-01-16T08:57:07+00:00

Scotland Outer Hebrides Workshop

24th – 31st Mar 2018 is fully booked

1st – 8th Sep 2018 – 2 Places | Max 3 Participants

Regardless of the season, The Outer Hebrides have a unique colour palette; delicate tones and subtle watercolours that juxtapose with strong shapes and textures of the delightful underlying geography. Delicate blues and rusty warm tones overlaid with delicate light and warmer temperatures, urge life to unfold from Sping to Autumn. Ever changing weather creates drama with dark clouds and wild light over the mountains and ocean.

The idyllic Other Hebrides of Harris and Lewis have a sense of remoteness and solitude that is truly tangible and grows with each passing moment – this is a landscape to “be” in and we will allow ourselves the chance to experience every nuance.

By staying in a self catering cottage, we will focus extensively on the profound effect of time and our emotional responses to the changing moods of landscape and weather. All of this we will try to express during in depth post-processing classes.
