For me, travelling is as essential to me as breathing and eating, as it makes me feel alive, nurtures all my senses and makes me discover myself every time a bit deeper. Lastly, I am really interested in nature conservation. In a way, it is not an interest, but the very least we owe to a Planet which is our source of life and our home.
For my landscape photography, I have a development-oriented approach which often involves significant “digital darkroom” work. This includes panoramic image stitching and High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography.
My passion is night and landscape photography. Please don’t ask me to do anything quickly – Long exposures is my thing, I love the creative potential of long exposures and how they can make an ordinary scene look extra-ordinary. My photography is solely based in Iceland.

For the last 40 years, I’ve presented more than eleven hundred training programs in visual literacy to about ten thousand professional communicators here in the US. Most of these people are public relations professionals who edit publications going to corporate audiences and must use photographs as part of their communications efforts.
